Montreal-Trudeau will have a busier schedule in the coming days, with a new Air Canada flight to Naples, Italy and a return to Cincinnati after a long absence from the “Queen City.”

Ciao Napoli!

An Air Canada flagship 737 Dreamliner made its first Montreal-Trudeau (YUL) to Naples-Capodichino (NAP) trek on May 17, 2025. It will continue four times a week, flying out Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and returning Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday. The seasonal flight continues until Oct. 25, 2025.

The route joins Air Canada’s three other non-stop flights to Italy: Rome, Milan and Venice are already in operation. With Naples, Air Canada will now be operating up to 39 weekly flights and more than 13,000 weekly seats from Canada into Italy.

“I am delighted to celebrate the launch of this new direct flight between Montréal and Naples — two vibrant and historic cities.” said Elissa Golberg, Canadian Ambassador to Italy. “This connection is more than a flight route between two destinations, it represents a gateway to deepen an already strong partnership between Canada and Italy including to further reinforce our collaborations in business, innovation, education, culture, and much more. I look forward to seeing how this bridge across the Atlantic will spark ideas, strengthen communities, and bring our peoples even closer together.”

See ya in Cincinnati

A little closer to home, Air Canada will be flying into the Cincinnati/North Kentucky airport from Montreal starting this week. It will be the only airline running a non-stop route between YUL and CVG, according to the Cincinnati Business Courier.

“The launch of this nonstop flight from Montreal to Cincinnati strengthens the Cincy Region’s international connectivity and reinforces our position as a welcoming destination for global travellers,” said Julie Calvert, President and CEO of Visit Cincy. “We look forward to introducing more Canadian visitors to our dynamic neighbourhoods, thriving culinary scene, and world-class attractions.”

The flight is scheduled to run daily, complementing the existing Toronto Pearson (YVR) flights that operate twice daily to Cincinnati.
