Travel Leaders Network Honours Top Supplier Partners

At its annual international conference EDGE, Travel Leaders Network honoured its supplier partners with the Power of Partnership (POP) Awards.

Royal Caribbean International and Norwegian Cruise Line were among the big winners, while Canada-specific winners included Sunwing, TravelBrands, WestJet Vacations and Manulife.

TLN's member travel advisors voted for their favourite suppliers in various categories. Criteria was also based on overall performance and support offered by supplier partners, as judged by Travel Leaders Network.

The Pinnacle Award for North American Partner of the Year was given to Royal Caribbean International. Presented to the top all-around TLN partner, the Pinnacle Award recognizes agency and headquarters sales support, excellent product offerings, innovative promotions, and outstanding contribution to Travel Leaders Network overall.

"Royal Caribbean, its leadership and its onboard and shoreside teams have shown outstanding leadership and commitment to the travel advisor," commented Roger E. Block, President of Travel Leaders Network. "They exemplify what it means to be a partner to our consortium, and their unwavering support and generosity make me proud to present them with this year's Pinnacle Award."

Norwegian Cruise Line was recognized as the Sales Support Partner of the Year for its consistent delivery of sales support and its 'lean in' approach to field sales, sales methodologies, and support solutions.

The Sales Achievement Partner of the Year was won by Universal Parks & Resorts. This award is presented to the Travel Leaders Network partner that excels in effectively delivering a high standard of product that consistently yields outstanding sales achievement.

Additional POP Awards were given to TLN supplier partners in various segments.

-- North American Airline Partner of the Year: Delta Air Lines

-- North American Car Rental Partner of the Year: Enterprise Holdings

-- North American Luxury Partner of the Year: Regent Seven Seas Cruises

-- North American Cruise Partner of the Year: Celebrity Cruises

Canadian supplier partners were also recognized in the POP Awards:

-- Overall Support: Sunwing

-- Best Education: Manulife

-- Most Creative Marketing: WestJet Vacations

-- Best Sales and Service: TravelBrands
