Collette wrapped up Travel Advisor Appreciation Month with a series of six in-person events across North America.The events took place in Rhode Island, Burlington, Ont., Long Island, St. Louis, Halifax and Oak Brook, Ill. Travel advisors were invited to reception-style gatherings aimed at strengthening relationships with the tour operator while learning about new developments across the business.This year's events also included a community-focused component. In partnership with local food banks in each host city, advisors were encouraged to donate canned goods and contribute financially through on-site QR codes. The Collette Foundation matched monetary donations up to $25 per contribution and donated $1 for every food item collected.

“Bringing that together with a shared commitment to giving back reflects the kind of partnership we value most.”Across the six events, travel advisors and Collette raised a total of $1,449 for local food banks and donated 514 food items.The donations supported several organizations across North America, including Feed Nova Scotia, People’s Resource Center, Operation Food Search, Burlington Food Bank, Long Island Cares and Rhode Island Food Bank.
