Softvoyage is changing course on the planned Sept. 1 shutdown of REVNET following feedback from travel industry stakeholders.
The travel technology company initially informed the industry on July 15 that REVNET would officially be decommissioned on Sept. 1, 2026. Following what it described as “numerous comments” from industry stakeholders, Softvoyage has revised the transition plan.
Under the updated timeline, REVNET will remain available beyond Sept. 1 while replacement tools are put in place.
As of Sept. 1, Option 10 will be removed from REVNET and will instead be available through TripBook.
Softvoyage is also developing a new web interface to replace REVNET Option 2, “ITC Packages.” The interface will provide direct access to tour operator product inventory and is intended to replicate the results currently available through REVNET.
The company says the new interface is expected to be completed and moved into production over the next few weeks.
REVNET will now be fully decommissioned only once the new system is completed and in production. Softvoyage did not provide a new firm date for the platform’s shutdown.
