Collette has released an on-demand version of the first episode in a new four-part selling series designed for travel advisors. The series was developed in response to advisor feedback and focuses on the full guided travel selling cycle, with practical approaches advisors can apply in their day-to-day work.
The first session, “Understanding Guided Touring: Setting the Scene for Sales Success,” examines what guided travel means for Collette travellers and the broader market. It addresses common misconceptions about guided touring and provides advisors with a set of questions intended to help better match clients with suitable travel experiences.
Early feedback from advisors has been positive. One participant commented, “Talking through ways to overcome any guided travel objections and responses were excellent, said Jude R. I’m looking forward to the complete session and experiencing my first Collette tour after completing Collette University.”
“We created this series because advisors asked for clear, practical selling strategies that reflect the realities of today’s guided travel market,” said Diana Ditto, Vice President of Product Marketing and Growth Strategy. “The first segment sets the stage by helping advisors reframe guided touring in a way that resonates with travelers’ needs today—and we’re thrilled to see how enthusiastically it’s already being received.”
With the first session now available on demand, advisors can view it ahead of the next live virtual event scheduled for February 26. Registration includes access to an on-demand version of the session for those unable to attend live.
Additional advisor resources, including previous on-demand virtual events focused on sales, are available through Collette’s Travel Advisor Portal.
