Air Canada is bringing its 2025 Air Canada Race to Barbados from November 20–25, marking the first time the event has taken place in the Caribbean.
The initiative recognizes and rewards travel agents across Canada and the United States who support the airline. Twenty agents were selected to participate after completing a series of educational modules.
Organizers said the event aims to strengthen connections and demonstrate why Canadian travellers continue to choose Barbados.
“This event in Barbados is a testament to the enduring partnership we’ve shared with Air Canada for over 75 years and the demonstrated confidence in our ability to deliver an unrivaled experience,” said Eusi Skeete, director of BTMI Canada.
“We cannot wait to share the beauty, warmth, and vibrant energy of Barbados and more importantly, inspire them with experiences that embody the very best that the island has to offer. Together, we will create moments that strengthen connections, spark new possibilities, and showcase why travellers continue to choose Barbados as the ideal destination to elevate their escape.”
“We’re thrilled to bring the Air Canada Race to Barbados for the first time,” added Vincent Gauthier-Dore, managing director Canada & USA Sales at Air Canada.
“Barbados offers an incredible backdrop for this immersive experience, and we’re excited to celebrate and thank the agents who help us connect travellers to the world.”
The Air Canada Race in Barbados will run from November 20 to 25. More information is available at www.visitbarbados.org or on social media at @VisitBarbados.
