The Association of Canadian Travel Agencies and Travel Advisors (ACTA) has confirmed the members of its six Regional Advisory Committees, following a call for expressions of interest sent to members in November 2025.The committees represent regions across Canada and are intended to ensure that regional perspectives inform the association’s advocacy and strategic priorities.
ACTA reported strong interest from members nationwide, with particularly high engagement from Quebec.“ACTA is strongest when we work in close partnership with our members and are guided by their regional perspectives. This collaboration ensures our advocacy is informed, effective, and reflective of the needs of members across the country,” said Suzanne Acton Gervais, President of ACTA.The Regional Advisory Committees serve as a consultative forum, advising ACTA on provincial, territorial, and national issues affecting the travel industry. They also support the association’s direction, planning, and strategies tied to its broader goals and objectives.Committee appointments for 2026 will run for one year, with standard two-year terms set to begin in 2027. A full list of ACTA’s Regional Advisory Committee members is available on the association’s website at acta.ca/rac.php.
