Playa Spotlight Awards. The Winners Are!

Top performing Agents from across Canada of Playa Resorts were on hand at Sanctuary CapCana in the Dominican Republic over the weekend for the third annual Spotlight Awards, Travel Pulse Canada was on hand as the exclusive Canadian Travel Trade media outlet to bring you full coverage of the event.

Agents were treated to a weekend of laughter and learning. All were provided with the rare opportunity to a behind the scenes, hard hat tour of the all new, 700 room, Hyatt Ziva and Hyatt Zilara CapCana currently under construction and set to open in the fall of 2019.

After a fun 1970's themed evening on Friday night, agents put on their best bond outfits and settled in for the main event on Saturday night at the James Bond themed gala. Everything from "Top Producing Agency" to the coveted "Playa Ambassador Award" were handed out by Canadian VP Sales Rose Cosentino.

Kevin Froemming, Chief Commercial officer and EVP spoke to the crowd of almost two hundred.

"Travel Agents are our strongest distribution partners and we thank you for all of your continued support."
