Headquartered in Keene, N.H., General Tours World Traveler was founded in 1947 by travel industry pioneer Alex Harris. The company's guiding philosophy originated at the Geneva Peace Conference following the Second World War, with a mission to build bridges of understanding between North America and Eastern Europe.
