About Philippines Department of Tourism

The Philippines Department of Tourism is responsible for driving tourists to the Philippines. Their purpose is to exclusively promote the country to produce and regulate foreign currency, increase employment as well as highlight the attractions of the country to pique travelers' interests. The department is made up of five divisions: Office of the Secretary, Tourism Promotion Sector, Tourism Services and Regional Offices Sector, Planning, Product Development and Coordination, and Internal Services Sector-each attributing a major role to the flow of tourism.
