Orlando uses Eastern Standard Time and switches its clocks one hour forward during Daylight Savings Time. This is to preserve daylight hours during winter when days are short.

Orlando has a humid subtropical climate. This climate type is defined by humid, hot summers, and mild winters. So it doesn’t get very cold during winter and you shouldn’t expect to see snow.
