Scotland Travel Guide

If you enjoy colder climates and a vast spread of mountains and fields, then we’ve got the place for you! Scotland offers some of the most picturesque locations in the world and some beautifully preserved heritage and history. Our Scotland Travel Guide offers all the information you need to make this dream trip a reality.

Of all the places we’ve traveled, Scotland remains one of the most captivating. From climbing the highest mountain in the UK to hunting for Nessie, a new experience is always around the corner. Just remember to bring your largest umbrella!

Based on our experiences over the years, Scotland has very reasonably priced public transportation systems. These services are the best way to get around the uneven terrain of Scotland.

An intricate road network allows anyone traveling by car access to most of Scotland. As long as you remember that people drive on the left side of the road, you’ll be just fine!

No matter where we went in Scotland, we were never far from a bus stop. Moving through the inner city was fast, safe, and reliable thanks to dedicated bus lanes connecting to all major roads.

Scotland’s ferry network offers safe and efficient travel between the larger islands. And when we wanted a fast way to get across the country, the train network never let us down. Plus, the scenic routes from the trains are almost worth the commute by themselves!
