Sunwing will be continuing its partnership with Food Network Canada Celebrity Chef Lynn Crawford, offering new menu options inspired by the Chef herself, giving customers "an even wider selection of quality, fresh and affordably-priced meal choices on their aircraft".
Based on customer feedback, Sunwing is now serving an 'all day breakfast' menu including a ham and cheese croissant sandwich, hearty oatmeal with maple and brown sugar, and more.
The latest Sunwing Café selection of dishes also includes several other choices conceived by Food Network Canada Celebrity Chef Lynn Crawford, who first lent her culinary inspiration to the on-board menu last year. New this season is the hearty Homestyle Shepherd's Pie filled with fresh ground beef, peas, carrots and corn and topped with creamy mashed potatoes and a sprinkle of white-cheddar cheese.
Editor's note: I had the Shepherd's Pie on my flight today and it was quite tasty.

I was very excited when they asked me to create new recipes that truly showcase fresh, local, high-quality ingredients served in an award-winning fashion."
Other new items include the Cinnamon Apple Bake with caramelized baked apples and cinnamon drizzle, a cheese tray of creamy havarti, cheddar, smoked gouda, green apple slices and lavash crackers, and an Angus beef burger topped with cheddar cheese served on a sesame seed bun.
Sunwing has also added a new selection of beer featuring Budweiser, Mill St, and Stella Artois.
Also new is a pre-order option, allowing customers to pre-order and pay for their inflight meal online up to 72 hours prior to departure, allowing customers to get their preferred meal selection.
Sunwing is keeping some popular favourites including the Neapolitan-style pizza, tapas box, mac and cheese, Philly Steak sandwiches and more. And kids can still opt for the Kidcations snack box filled with fun snacks that little hands will love.
