As the demand for vegan and plant-based offerings continues to surge, river cruise line AmaWaterways has unveiled an extensive selection of enhanced menu offerings.
Guided by AmaWaterways’ Co-Founder and Executive Vice President Kristin Karst, who is a passionate believer that “plant-based meals are the future,” the curated offerings bring a visually stunning and palate-pleasing culinary experience to guests.

Anyone who has been lucky enough to travel on an AmaWaterways ship will know that the company takes food quality, sourcing and presentation very seriously. So you won’t need to be a vegan or vegetarian to enjoy the new menu options.
The enhanced menu is now available at the Main Restaurant across AmaWaterways’ fleet of award-winning ships.
Highlights of the new offerings begin with appetizer options such as oven-roasted eggplant bruschetta with herbs, garlic chickpeas bruschetta and a touch of balsamic.

Main courses allow guests the option to savour slow-braised vegetable stew featuring portobello mushrooms, carrots and cauliflower or indulge in grilled cauliflower and sweet potato complemented by lemon salsa verde, cherry tomatoes, beans and broccoli.
To top off their meal, diners can enjoy tempting desserts such as nut-crusted pumpkin mousse infused with dates for a sweet and satisfying culinary journey.
