Lina Matturo of Islington Travel Receives Coronation Medal for Community Service

Lina Matturo, owner of Islington Travel and a respected member of the Toronto business community, has been awarded the King Charles III Coronation Medal in recognition of more than four decades of community service.

Matturo, whose agency is affiliated with Travelsavers Canada, has served as a trusted figure in both the travel industry and her local community for over 45 years. In addition to running her long-standing Toronto-based agency, she has committed herself to a wide range of volunteer and outreach initiatives, including Canadian citizenship classes and local community boards.

“This recognition is not just for me, but for the collective effort of every individual who contributes their time, energy, and passion to making our community a better place,” said Matturo.
