Exodus Adventure Travels has announced that Krista Rothfuchs has joined the organization, effective June 10 as Business Development Manager for Ontario and Manitoba. Rothfuchs left her position with Air Canada Vacations ACV@Home Program on Friday, after 12 years with the company.
“Although I’m leaving a positive environment and a successful sales team, I'm beyond excited to help build a brand and business that is making a mark in North America,” she told TravelPulse Canada.
In her new role, Rothfuchs will work with the Exodus Adventure Travels trade team to raise brand awareness in Canada, especially in Ontario and Manitoba, as Exodus currently has representatives on the East and West Coasts.
“Exodus Adventure Travels has done a really good job at getting the name out there, and I hope I can build on that to create a strong presence in North America for the B2B community.”
Rothfuchs said she’s excited to learn all about the new product and while it’s a transition for her since it’s a switch from what she’s used to, she’s looking forward to the niche of being an adventure BDM.
“It’s thrilling to explore new places. Every time I’ve gone to a new country where there have been “unknowns,” I’ve ended up falling in love with it. As well, experiencing a new destination in the company of a small group of likeminded travellers from around the world is always the cherry on top.
This just seems like a perfect fit.”
