After several months of renovation, the Riu Hotels & Resorts chain has adapted the spaces of the Riu Palace Baja California hotel to present the unique benefits offered by the new Club Elite class, designed for guests who want to enrich their experience at RIU hotels .
The hotel now has a dedicated Elite Club restaurant that offers a la carte breakfast and dinner for guests who choose to upgrade their stay with this option. Likewise, an exclusive area for Elite Club customers has been set up in the swimming pool, in addition to an exclusive bar and a rooftop area with sun loungers and Balinese beds. As an additional advantage, Club Elite customers have a private lounge where drinks and canapes are served.
The Club Elite option includes:
82 rooms offering the best views of the resort and equipped with premium drinks; a minibar with snacks and a bottle of wine; late check-out confirmed until 1:00 p.m., and possibility of early check-in, as well as an exclusive check-in line at reception for early risers; welcome gift and aromatherapy in the room; and the possibility of priority reservations in à la carte restaurants.
The launch of Elite Club in Los Cabos comes a few weeks after the reopening of the Riu Palace Pacifico in Riviera Nayarit, which also offers this service. In Mexico, the Riu Palace Kukulkan (in Cancun) was the first RIU hotel to offer this new concept to its guests. A concept which is now also offered in the Dominican Republic, at the renovated Riu Palace Macao, in Punta Cana, and also in Jamaica (after the changes made at the Riu Palace Jamaica, in Montego Bay).
Remember that, by booking Club Elite, which, for the moment, is exclusively offered in Palace category hotels for adults only, guests will benefit from:
- Superior category rooms
- Enhanced room service menu
- Premium alcohol in room
- Access to an exclusive restaurant and lounge
- Late departure (1 p.m.)
- Priority check-in
“Approximately 15% of the rooms in the Riu Palace reserved for adults will now be Club Elite,” explained Armin Kaestner, vice president of sales and business development for Riu hotels for the United States and Canada, “so we are talking about 56 rooms for the Riu Palace Macao, the first in the range for this brand new concept.”
