From the moment you arrive, you feel the pampering, at Palace Resorts' newest property - the luxurious adults only Le Blanc Spa Resort Los Cabos. From the cool coconut-based cocktail to quench your thirst on arrival, to the warm neck pillow placed around your neck to soothe away the stress of the day's travel as you check in, you know you're in for a treat at this luxury resort.
TravelPulse Canada is the only media joining approximately 20 agents on Palace Resorts' agent FAM to Le Blanc Spa Resort Los Cabos, their brand new adults-only resort in the Los Cabos corridor, approximately half way between San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas.
Hosted by Palace Resorts' business development manager, Diana Winters, the agents spent the first morning learning more about the destination from the Los Cabos Tourist Board. They then completed a full site inspection, including viewing different room types, the resort's eight restaurants and six bars, and its luxurious 29,000 square foot spa - Blanc Spa - while also having the opportunity to experience first hand, the luxury this resort offers.
The resort, which had a soft launch earlier this year and officially opened on the last weekend in March, is the second Le Blanc-branded resort in the Palace Resorts portfolio. But unlike Le Blanc Spa Resort Cancun, which was a rebrand/renovation of an existing property, Le Blanc Spa Resort Los Cabos is a new-build, the first in the Le Blanc brand that was purpose-built and designed by Palace Resorts.
Le Blanc Spa Resort Los Cabos' 374 rooms are housed in three buildings; the 12 story main tower which features Royale Deluxe Oceanview and Royale Deluxe Honeymoon rooms, and two four-story side buildings, one on each side of the pool area, which house the Royale Deluxe Resort View and Royale Deluxe Partial Ocean View rooms. The property also features 10 one-bedroom Royale Governor suites and six Royale Presidential Suites.
Rooms feature spa-style bathrooms with BVLGARI® bath amenities, gorgeous free-standing whirlpool tubs, and bathrobes and slippers, as well as Apple TV, a pillow menu, mini-bar and upgraded liquor cabinet. Not to mention an in-room aromatherapy infuser and your choice of 10 scents. Attentive butlers may even be called upon to run you a bath at a pre-determined time.
The property offers eight dining options in total, six of which are à la carte, along with a buffet and café, and the first thing that struck me about all of the restaurants was the size. None are huge, cavernous rooms but smaller, more intimate spaces. More like eating at a local restaurant than an all-inclusive resort. There are also six bars - including a sports bar, martini and wine bar with fire pits, and two swim-up bars.
Le Blanc Spa Resort Los Cabos is offered by all major Canadian tour operators and we'll have more photos and information on this resort this week, so stay tuned.
