The AAA Four-Diamond Hilton Playa del Carmen delivers a rare combination of attributes. The beachfront property offers a tranquil, adults-only, all-suite, all-inclusive experience, but it's just steps away from the designer boutiques and trendy bars of Fifth Avenue.

The 500-plus light and airy suites come with upscale amenities including private balcony, complimentary WiFi, pillow menu, mini-bar, double jetted tubs and rainfall showers. There's 24-hour room service and nightly turndown for that extra level of pampering.

There are beachfront and swim-up suites too, which come with large living rooms, added amenities and direct access to the water. Poolside cabanas are included with some suite categories.

Shared amenities include an Olympic-sized lap pool, tranquil relaxation pool, large fitness centre, rooftop tennis court, water sports equipment and much more. SPAzul offers a wide range of massage and body care treatments, solo and couple, with many inspired by traditional Mayan culture. Enticing options include a Temazcal stone steam bath, a chocolate ritual and a Mayan massage.

For your clients eager to make up for lost travel time, the Hilton Playa del Carmen offers a fully refreshed ambience. A major renovation was completed near the end of 2019, just before most of the world went into lockdown. The lobby, all 500-plus suites, seven restaurants and several bars all got a makeover.

The Hilton Playa del Carmen spoils guests with choice for dining, snacks and drinks. There's Kalamata for Mediterranean cuisine, Asiana for pan-Asian dishes, Chef's Plate for haute cuisine, Pelicanos for Caribbean fusion, Spice for nouvelle Mexican and American dining and two choices for authentic Mexican food, Maria Marie and Rincon Mexicano.

For refreshing and reviving drinks, there's the Aromas Coffee House, the Tequileria for sampling that Mexican specialty, the poolside Trade Winds bar and La Mejorada, where live music adds to the excitement.

Playa del Carmen has an exciting dining and bar scene too, with an amazing 225 restaurants and 48 attractions located within a half-kilometre walk of the property.

'Service from the Heart' is the guiding principle for Hilton Playa del Carmen staff, who greet guests with a hand over their heart and a smile on their face. They're the perfect hosts for a range of included activities, including salsa and merengue lessons, wine and food tastings, Pilates, aqua aerobics and more.

A recent TripAdvisor review praised the Hilton PDC staff this way: "It's the employees that make it more than a resort but your home away from home in a tropical paradise."

Managed by all-inclusive leader Playa Hotels & Resorts, the Hilton Playa del Carmen makes guest health and safety a priority with its 'Playa Safe Stay' initiatives, developed in conjunction with industry experts, the World Health Organization and local government.

Accepting the challenge to provide peace of mind without compromising the guest experience, Hilton Playa del Carmen has altered restaurant and bar seating to enhance social distancing and adopted proven anti-viral cleanliness techniques to ensure a safe environment for a vacation to remember.
