Day of the Dead Celebrations and New Restaurant Open at Sandos Caracol Eco Resort

The first few days of November are special in Mexico. Across the country, people come together to remember and celebrate life. Sandos Hotels and Resorts are honouring this special tradition with special activities happening at Sandos Caracol Eco Resort. 

Visiting Sandos Caracol Eco Resort during this extraordinary occasion will allow you to be part of this unique moment full of beautiful altars, parades of Catrinas (elegantly dressed skeleton characters), and ancient traditions that celebrate life after death.  The events are included for guests staying at Sandos Caracol Eco Resort on Nov. 1 & 2.

The celebration is on the heels of more news that Sandos Caracol Eco Resort has changed room service hours and opened a new dining venue, "El Nido." Room Service hours, which will now be available from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. The menu includes fresh breakfast items, excellent sandwiches for lunch, and protein-rich options for dinner.  El Nido, a new culinary space on the property is now open offering a diverse selection of Mexican cuisine. El Nido will be open for Breakfast (À la carte): 08:00 AM - 10:30 AM Lunch (Taquería): 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM and Dinner: 11:00 PM - 6:00 AM (food service without alcoholic beverages).
