Club Med Coming to Mont-Tremblant

The only Club Med resort in Canada (at Charlevoix, Quebec) will have a sister at Mont-Tremblant if plans for a new 300-room resort proceed as planned.

The high-end project, in concert with the Brivia Group, is slated to begin construction next year, with an eye to completion for 2028, according to the Journal de Montreal, 

The resort will be a four-season holiday village on the Versant Soleil side with a stated focus on “eco-responsibility, luxury, nature and sustainable development.”

A press release announcing the project states, “Club Med is targeting BREEAM certification at the "Very Good" level - an internationally recognized environmental building standard, as well as Green Globe certification for sustainable operations.”

The resort is expected to generate 300 jobs, distributed at the resort and off-site. 

Before the project can be completed, some key things remain to be nailed down, including securing financing and obtaining the necessary building permits.
