Trevello Travel Group concluded its 2025 national conference, "Momentum," at the Hyatt Ziva and Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall in Montego Bay last week, capping off a week of education, networking, and celebration for more than 200 travel advisors and suppliers.
Held from May 4–9, the annual event brought Trevello’s advisor network together for workshops, panels, and supplier sessions, with a focus on trends such as luxury travel, AI, and branding with Virtuoso.
“Our goal was to ensure advisors left feeling equipped and inspired to succeed,” said Susan Lawson, Trevello’s Director of Engagement. “We created opportunities for meaningful connection—between advisors, supplier partners, and our head office. The engagement this week has been amazing, and I’ve heard from many that this was one of our best conferences yet.”
The week included networking events like a retro “Prom Night” and a Travel Advisor Day celebration on May 7, which featured a keynote by Adam Stewart, Executive Chairman of Sandals Resorts International.
Stewart emphasized the value of personal connections and the Caribbean’s strong rebound in tourism.
The conference wrapped up with an awards gala recognizing top-performing advisors, and a much-anticipated announcement: Trevello’s 2026 national conference will take place in Ireland, May 3–8, in partnership with Brendan Vacations (TTC Tour Brands), Tourism Ireland, and Tourism Northern Ireland.
“It’s going to be something we’ve never done before,” said Jodine Clement, District Sales Manager at TTC Tour Brands, during the announcement, which was met with enthusiastic applause. The Ireland conference will include business sessions alongside immersive tours and a gala dinner in a private museum.
Trevello also highlighted recent milestones, including the rollout of its new "Momentum" commission structure.
Introduced in January, the program offers 85% commission to all advisors, with the potential to reach 100% after earning $15,000 in paid commissions. Nearly 300 new advisors have joined the company since the launch, 68% of whom are new to the travel industry. Trevello’s network now includes 1,172 members.
“We made a conscious decision to put our advisors first, even if it meant absorbing short-term costs for long-term growth,” said Zeina Gedeon, President and CEO of Trevello. “Our advisors are entrepreneurs, and we are committed to ensuring they are properly compensated and supported.”
