G Adventures flagship training event, Special Agent G will be held virtually on June 9 and 10 from 11:00am to 4:00pm ET.
The show is powered by TravelPulse Canada's virtual trade show platform that rolled out across the country last year and has been a go-to for over 10 years with US parent company TravelPulse.
David Green, VP Commercial, G Adventures, says that with 56% of Canadians* indicating they will take a small group tour as their next international holiday, small group travel is proving more popular than ever before.
"We are delighted to bring our Special Agent G event into the virtual world. We've been running these events as invitation-only, in-person training sessions at our Basecamp office in Toronto for several years with great success, so to be able to open it up to all agents across Canada via our virtual platform is super exciting."
Over the course of two days, the participants' mission is to help change the world through travel. Agents have the opportunity to attend panel events and talks, including an inspirational keynote by G Adventures' founder, Bruce Poon Tip, and to learn about the 10 different travel styles across G Adventures' portfolio. Additionally, they will hear from experts about popular adventure destinations such as Japan, Jordan and Peru, with Japan National Tourism Organization, Jordan Tourism Board and PROMPERÚ acting as lead sponsors., and agents will also have the chance to upskill with sessions focused on how to build their business, such as "engaging with new and existing clients via social media".
The virtual event will allow agents to engage and gather information in French and English. Each show allows agents to chat with G Adventures, watch videos, learn about the latest destinations and products, and download the latest collateral and brochures in their very own virtual brief case.

In order to qualify for Special Agent G, agents should first register at this link, and they will then be given instructions on how to complete two introductory training modules prior to the event.

Agents who 'complete their mission' by attending all sessions in real time will be awarded a digital certificate to recognize their training milestone. There will also be prizes up for grabs including G Adventures tours, and goodies from local Canadian brands such as Saje Natural Wellness and Collective Arts Brewing. There will also be promotions exclusive to Canadian agents, which are only accessible to those who participate in the two-day event, giving those agents the ability to pass on exclusive deals to their Canadian clients.
