Las Vegas Sees Success with At Par Promotion

It seems like Canadians’ softened appetite for U.S. travel can be countered by a good deal. Three months into a promotion that offers Canadians an at par rate on hotels, gaming and food, the participating businesses are proclaiming it a success. Circa, the D and Golden Gate have seen more than 50,000 travellers take advantage of the offers, where Canadian dollars are accepted as equivalent to USD.

The promotion, which runs until Aug. 31, 2026, has already resulted in 5,100 hotel room bookings and produced over $10 million in slot play.

“Canadians have always played a meaningful role in downtown Las Vegas, and we’re incredibly appreciative of the loyalty they continue to show our city,” said Derek Stevens, owner and CEO of Circa, the D and Golden Gate. “The response to our At Par program has been tremendous and we look forward to creating more exciting moments for our guests from the Great White North.” 

The summer will continue with more Canadian content, including a free Fremont Street show with Montreal DJ Tiga and a meet-and-greet and concert with Finger Eleven.
