Riviera River Cruises has become a preferred supplier for Ensemble, the North American travel consortium with offices in Toronto and New York.
A 39-year-old company based in the United Kingdom, Riviera prides itself on offering unique itineraries that allow guests to get the most out of their European vacation as well as working exclusively with travel advisors.
“We’re delighted to partner with Ensemble as it is one of the most recognized and respected agency groups in the U.S. and Canada,” said Marilyn Conroy, Riviera River Cruises’ VP Sales and Marketing North America.
“At Riviera, we’ve been actively marketing in North America for a little over five years, and in that time we’ve been dedicated to the travel advisor community here. We don’t market directly to consumers unless it’s in tandem with our partners, and any direct booking inquiries we receive are passed along to preferred advisors at commission.”

Riviera offers 22 itineraries on 10 European rivers throughout the year, including departures for solo travellers with no single supplement, and holiday season cruises. Its fleet of 12 ships is one of the youngest in Europe, with each featuring spacious cabins and suites and facilities like a fitness centre, sauna, massage room, salon, and a plunge pool or hot tub, as well as complimentary Wi-Fi.
Dining on board includes fine culinary experiences from splendid breakfasts to delicious four-course dinners in the main restaurant, as well as a more informal stern restaurant and complimentary room service for breakfast.
Unlimited house wine, draught beer, soft drinks and juices are available at lunch, and those, as well as unlimited cocktails, mocktails, house spirits, mixers and more are available from 6 p.m. to midnight. Coffee and tea are available through in-cabin facilities or a 24-hour self-service station.
Riviera includes daily excursions led by knowledgeable local guides, but also leaves time for guests to explore destinations on their own by using one of its complimentary bicycles or arranging for additional activities on an at-cost basis through the ship’s concierge.
Riviera also offers cruises along Croatia’s Dalmatian coast aboard six 38-passenger yachts.
