Royal Caribbean has extended its Cruise with Confidence program, which enables guests to cancel up to 48 hours prior to the sail date in exchange for a 100 percent future cruise credit.
The program has been extended to include reservations confirmed on or before January 31, 2022, and sailing through May 31, 2022.
The Cruise with Confidence program was launched in March 2020 when the pandemic spurred travel restrictions and uncertainty around the world. It has since been extended multiple times to provide peace of mind for travellers booking with Royal Caribbean.
To be eligible, the reservation must be active without guests having previously accepted any cancellation offers.
In addition, qualifying guests are also able to take advantage of Royal Caribbean's Best Price Guarantee up to 48 hours prior to the sail date.
With the guarantee, if there's a decrease in the fare on or before final payment due date, the difference will be provided in a rate adjustment. If the decrease comes after final payment due date, the difference is provided in the form of onboard credit. Certain promotions are excluded from the offer.
Royal Caribbean now has more than 20 ships of its fleet back at sea. The line has carried 500,000 guests in the past year, despite shifting restrictions in many parts of the world.
