Princess Cruises Sets World Record for Margaritas

Princess Cruises is celebrating a major, boozy accomplishment.

On February 17, guests and crew came together aboard Regal Princess in Cozumel to set a new Guinness World Record for the most margaritas sold in an eight-hour period.

The final tally: 3,410 margaritas, which far exceeds the existing record of 2,728.

The drinks were made with Pantalones Organic Tequila, co-founded by Camila and Matthew McConaughey. The duo also serve as godparents of Princess Cruises’ newest ship, Star Princess.

Princess serves cocktails featuring their Pantalones Organic Tequila across the fleet, including the popular 24K Gold Margarita. Their tequila is also part of Princess’ Love Line Premium Liquors collection.

“Raise a glass,” the brand posted on Facebook. “We did it!”
