Paul Gauguin Cruises and PONANT EXPLORATIONS are celebrating two ships sailing French Polynesia beginning this October, with a $1,000 shipboard credit offer for new bookings, plus a gift card booking bonus for advisors.

Paul Gauguin Cruises will be sailing the region with its m/s Paul Gauguin, while its sister brand’s ship Le Jacques Cartier will join for the first time this October. The two ships will provide several exciting opportunities for travelers to discover all five archipelagos of French Polynesia.

Now through October 31, 2026, travelers who book and deposit an eligible cruise onboard either ship will enjoy a $1,000 shipboard credit when they set sail. The offer is available for double-occupancy staterooms or suites using the code TEMPTAH.

The credit can be used for spa treatments, onboard boutique purchases and Connoisseur Wine List selections. Those enjoying a Paul Gauguin Cruises sailing can also apply the credit to shore excursions.

Travel advisors who book their clients on these eligible sailings will enjoy a $250 gift card bonus for single-occupancy bookings and a $500 gift card bonus for new double-occupancy bookings.

“French Polynesia has long been at the heart of Paul Gauguin Cruises, and our deep connection to the destination allows us to share its culture, people and extraordinary landscapes with travelers in an authentic way,” said Sam Chamberlain, CEO Americas for Paul Gauguin Cruises and PONANT EXPLORATIONS.

“With The Gauguin and now Le Jacques Cartier, we bring together two distinct experiences in French Polynesia, from immersive cultural experiences in the islands we know so well to expedition-style journeys that reach the least explored corners of the South Pacific. The Tempting Tahiti offer provides the perfect opportunity to discover the remarkable diversity of this extraordinary destination.”

The m/s Paul Gauguin sails throughout the year from Papeete, Tahiti on seven-night or 14-night itineraries, visiting places like the Society Islands, Tuamotus, Marquesas, Cook Islands, Fiji, Bali and more. Every sailing is accompanied by Tahitian ambassadors who teach guests about their culture and islands.

PONANT EXPLORATIONS’ Le Jacques Cartier will offer 14-night itineraries visiting more remote regions of French Polynesia, including the Austral and Gambier archipelagos, visiting islands like Rapa, Rikitea and Aukena.
