When it debuts in Alaska this summer, MSC Poesia will have a fully refurbished MSC Aurea Spa onboard.
The vessel will also debut expanded wellness offerings, including new Alaska-inspired treatments and recovery experiences designed for colder climates.
The ship, which is undergoing refurbishment at Palumbo Malta Shipyard in Malta, will introduce a reimagined MSC Aurea Spa featuring updated treatment rooms and a redesigned thermal area where guests can relax in a warm, tranquil space with ocean views.
Travelers will also be able to enjoy wellness experiences inspired by Alaska, including massages and therapies aimed at easing muscle tension, encouraging relaxation and helping the body recover from colder temperatures. New post-excursion recovery experiences will also be available, as well as products suited to colder climates like warming creams, nourishing oils and hydrating treatments.
The MSC Gym by Technogym is also being relocated and fully updated, with new equipment and a larger, more flexible layout. The space will include dedicated studios for group classes and a separate cycling studio. Guests will also have access to personalized wellness consultations, including Footbalance and InBody assessments.
