Expedition cruise specialist Hurtigruten Expeditions has kicked off its most expansive Galápagos season to date.
The adventure operator is making it easier than ever to travel to this UNESCO Biosphere Reserve on the equator with a limited 'Buy One, Get One Free' offer on nearly all departures from March 2023 through the end of the year.
In addition, solo travellers, a key market for the Hurtigruten Group, will get 50% off a solo sailing when booking. During the same period, Hurtigruten Expeditions will donate up to $100,000 to its three local charity partners from the proceeds of its sales.
Home to more than 9,000 species of wildlife, the Galápagos is one of the most extraordinary destinations on the planet. Guests can spot orcas and flamingos, dance with Blue-footed Boobies, lumber alongside giant tortoises, and embrace true adventure on this volcanic archipelago, the world's masterpiece of evolution.
The new Western Loop, Northern Loop, and combined 11-day itinerary join Hurtigruten Expeditions' original Eastern Loop, the company's first-ever Galapagos itinerary which launched last year.
Hurtigruten Expeditions says it will ensure that proceeds of up to $100,000 of bookings from these trips will support the conservation efforts of three local charity partners: the Charles Darwin Foundation, Galapagos Conservancy and Fundación de Conservación Jocotoco.
All beneficiaries of the Hurtigruten Foundation, the three organizations are committed to conserving and rewilding threatened species in the Galápagos Islands as well as protecting the archipelago's unique flora and fauna.
The 'Buy One, Get One Free' offer is available now through February 15.
With the new circuits, Hurtigruten Expeditions now offers four year-round Galapagos itineraries, creating 78 opportunities a year for travellers to experience the remote archipelago.

With a threefold increase of sailings compared to 2022 -- and departures that range from seven to 11 days -- the company is making it easier for travellers to find a trip that works with their schedule. Those looking for a longer adventure can extend their trip with a stay in the Ecuadorian cloud forest or the Amazonian rainforest.
With a maximum capacity of 90 guests, Hurtigruten Expeditions' upgraded MS Santa Cruz II takes travellers on an immersive, intimate journey to explore a destination like no other.
An Expedition Team of experts serve as hosts on every journey, and guests will find a wide range of activities both ashore and on board while learning about the incomparable natural wonders through informative and engaging lectures.
