Shawn Friesen, a multi-unit franchisee with Expedia Cruises, has announced that Doug Patterson will join his growing organization as Director of Operations.
With over three decades of experience in the travel industry, Patterson has previously served as President of Collette Tours, Trafalgar Tours and Insight Vacations.
Most recently, he has operated a solutions-based consulting firm, providing B2B and B2C solutions to the travel industry.
Friesen currently owns and operates ten Expedia locations, staffed by over 300 travel consultants.
Friesen says Patterson's appointment is a strategic move to ensure the company achieves its ambitious growth goals over the next five years. He says Patterson’s expertise in strategy, team leadership, and operations will help guide the company through an ambitious growth plan.
