Crystal Serenity will undergo refurbishment during a three-week dry dock in October.
The project includes updates to the Aquamarine Classic Suite category and several key public spaces. Crews will completely refit the Aquamarine Classic Suites’ living area and bathrooms on Deck 10 and update the suites with new furnishings. Additionally, the corridors on Deck 10 will receive new carpet and wallpaper.
Several public spaces are also being updated, including the atrium and Crystal Cove, the Waterside Restaurant, the Stardust Club, the Seahorse Pool and the Marketplace. Crews are also adding a new pool bar on Deck 12 mid-ship.
Crystal Serenity will also undergo technical upgrades designed to optimize performance, efficiency and environmental responsibility. These include work along the propulsion line to support the vessel’s operational reliability, a comprehensive mechanical overhaul of the fin stabilizers, extensive hull cleaning and repainting, new sound and entertainment systems and a range of electrical and automation upgrades to modernize onboard systems.
Crystal Serenity is expected to resume service November 8, with a 15-day transatlantic voyage from Lisbon to Fort Lauderdale, where she will begin her Caribbean season.
