Thanks to Rail Europe’s addition of the Campania Express, travel advisors now have more options for booking their clients on southern Italy vacations.
“This expansion adds seamless rail connections to some of the region's most iconic destinations, including Pompeii, Herculaneum and Sorrento,” Rail Europe said.
In all, Campania Express provides advisors with a range of rail trips that link Naples to destinations such as the archeological site of Pompeii; Ercolano, formerly known as Herculaneum, which dates back to the 6th or 7th century BC; Vico Equense, a clifftop village on the Sorrentine Peninsula; and Sorrento.
“Southern Italy continues to attract travelers from around the world thanks to its unique combination of history, culture, gastronomy and coastal landscapes,” said Robert From, Rail Europe’s chief growth officer.
“By adding Campania Express to our portfolio, and making it available through both our agent platform and API, we are giving our partners worldwide an additional option for connecting travelers with some of Campania’s most sought-after destinations.”
With leisure travelers in mind, Campania Express is equipped with reserved seating, air conditioning and dedicated luggage space.
“Campania Express is available as a standalone regional rail product, complementing Rail Europe's wider portfolio of national, international and rail pass offerings,” Rail Europe said.
