Turkish Airlines has extended its stopover service at Istanbul (IST) with an extra complimentary night's accommodation for both Economy and Business Class passengers.
Economy passengers with a layover of at least 20 hours in Istanbul will have the opportunity for a two-night stay in a four-star hotel, while Business Class passengers can experience a three-night stay in a five-star hotel. Passengers will also have the option of extending their stay at contracted hotels with special prices.
Turkish Airlines connects via Istanbul to three gateways in Canada: Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver:
- Toronto: Seven days a week from June 8 to September 28
- Montreal: Sunday, Wednesday and Friday
- Vancouver: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday
The airline is also continuing to offer travellers a chance to explore the city with free tours via Touristanbul for those pax with layovers between six and 24 hours. Eight tour itineraries are offered that include historical sites and Turkish cuisine before returning to IST for departure.
Passengers are able to make reservations for the stopover program up to 72 hours before their flight by visiting www.turkishairlines.com with their PNR and surname or by sending their requests to the e-mail address corresponding to their country of departure on the website.
