The World Travel Awards have deemed Star Alliance to be the best in the world for 2025. At a gala held in Bahrain, the awards ceremony recognized the inter-airline partnership for the sixth year running.
This year, the judges highlighted Star Alliance’s continued focus on “shaping a more seamless experience across the customer journey — from booking and airport to connections and loyalty.”

The World Travel Awards have been running for 32 years, honouring excellence across the travel, tourism, and hospitality sectors. Winners are determined based on a worldwide poll involving qualified executives in the travel sector, alongside consumer travel buyers.
Several Star Alliance member airlines were also recognized with awards. The global alliance is made up of: Aegean Airlines, Air Canada, Air China, Air India, Air New Zealand, ANA, Asiana Airlines, Austrian, Avianca, Brussels Airlines, Copa Airlines, Croatia Airlines, EGYPTAIR, Ethiopian Airlines, EVA Air, LOT Polish Airlines, Lufthansa, Shenzhen Airlines, Singapore Airlines, South African Airways, SWISS, TAP Air Portugal, THAI, Turkish Airlines, and United.
