Porter Cleared for Great Britain, Jamaica and Costa Rica

Thanks to rulings published by the Canadian Transport Agency (CTA) this week, Porter Airlines is one step closer to expanding its international routes. 

The rulings clear the runway for Porter to fly to Great Britain, Jamaica and Costa Rica.

Building on what were previously code share agreements dating from March, 2023, Porter was granted authorization to fly its own planes on the routes.

Porter has not yet announced what the company plans to do now that they can operate in these destinations without a code share agreement. 

Porter has been steadily growing its domestic routes too, with new flights from Toronto to the Atlantic provinces and several routes out of Hamilton launched this month.
