Porter Airlines has expanded its Canadian network with the launch of non-stop flights from Hamilton (YHM) to Calgary (YYC) and Edmonton (YEG), giving travellers in Southern Ontario new options to reach Alberta.
“With today’s inaugural flights linking Hamilton with Calgary and Edmonton, we’re continuing to strengthen Porter’s presence across the region,” said Andrew Pierce, vice president, network planning and reporting at Porter Airlines.
“These direct routes make it even easier for the Greater Hamilton community to explore Western Canada, and gives those visiting Southern Ontario convenient access to Ontario wineries and all that the Golden Horseshoe has to offer.”

The new flights follow Porter’s recent launch of flights from Hamilton to Halifax and Vancouver on June 3. With service now to four key domestic destinations, the airline’s Hamilton operations continue to grow.
Recent upgrades to the Hamilton International Airport terminal aim to enhance the passenger experience and support Porter’s expansion.
