The Best Time to Visit Alaska: A Season-By-Season Guide
Porter Airlines has reduced the fuel surcharge applied to VIPorter reward flight redemptions, citing signs that global aviation fuel prices are beginning to stabilize. In an email sent to VIPorter members on June 23, the airline said it is lowering the surcharge from $40 to $20 on new reward flight bookings made starting today. The surcharge was introduced in March as a temporary measure after aviation fuel prices doubled globally. At the time, Porter said it intended to remove the fee once fuel prices returned to levels seen at the beginning of the year.
