Jazz Flight Attendants Reach Tentative Deal with Airline

The Jazz Aviation flight attendants’ union has come to a tentative agreement with the Halifax-based airline. The Canadian Flight Attendant Union (CFAU) made the announcement late yesterday (Sept. 13, 2026), stating that, pending ratification, the agreement would resolve “all outstanding issues in dispute through collective bargaining.”

Details of the proposed contract have not been made public at this time.

Jazz flight attendants have been without a contract since the beginning of the year, during which time the union and the airline, which operates under the Air Canada Express umbrella, have undergone extensive negotiations. Early this month, union members voted overwhelmingly for a strike mandate, which could have led to labour action by the approximately 1,000 Jazz flight attendants who are part of the CFAU.
