Flair Airlines is allowing customers to use Apple’s Share Item Location feature to help track lost or delayed luggage.
The new feature enables passengers to share the location of their AirTag or other privately connected Find My network accessories with Flair’s customer service team, accelerating the process of reuniting bags with their owners.
“Flair FWD is about making travel smarter, simpler, and more reliable. Integrating Apple’s Share Item Location feature is a small but meaningful step in reducing stress around delayed or misplaced baggage. It’s another way we’re putting control and peace of mind back in the hands of our customers,” said Maciej Wilk, CEO of Flair.

To use the feature, customers generate a Share Item Location link in the Find My app on their iPhone, iPad, or Mac and submit it directly through Flair’s baggage claim portal at https://flyflair.com/baggage-services.
Location sharing ends automatically once the bag is returned, can be stopped by the customer at any time, and expires after seven days.
The feature uses Apple’s Find My network, a crowdsourced system of over one billion Apple devices. The network detects missing items using Bluetooth and reports their approximate location back to the owner. All data is end-to-end encrypted and anonymous.

Customers need iOS 18.2, iPadOS 18.2, or macOS 15.2 or later to access the Share Item Location feature.
