Double-Double at 35,000 Feet: WestJet Takes Off with Tim Hortons

WestJet and Tim Hortons have announced a new partnership that will bring a specially developed Tim Hortons coffee blend to WestJet flights beginning Nov. 30, 2026.

The agreement will also expand into loyalty benefits next year, allowing members of WestJet Rewards and Tims Rewards to link their accounts and earn rewards through eligible Tim Hortons purchases.

"Some partnerships just make sense, bringing together WestJet, Canada's famously welcoming airline with Tim Horton's, Canada's favourite coffee is one of them," said John Weatherill, WestJet Group Executive Vice-President and Chief Commercial Officer.

"We're excited to welcome Tim Hortons and its new Flight Roast blend onboard, giving guests a little taste of home with every cup while reinforcing our ongoing commitment to delivering Canadians with a welcoming experience."

Horton's says "Flight Roast" is a 100% Arabica medium roast developed by its in-house coffee team. 

Tim Hortons coffee and tea will be available on WestJet flights that currently offer in-flight refreshments.

"Since 1964, Tim Hortons has been serving great tasting coffee that Canadians love and we're excited to bring Tims to the sky. We can't wait for Flight Roast, a custom blend developed to be enjoyed exclusively for WestJet guests during their flights, to take off," says Hope Bagozzi, Chief Marketing Officer for Tim Hortons. 

Beginning in 2027, members of WestJet Rewards and Tims Rewards will be able to link their accounts and earn points from both programs on eligible purchases at Tim Hortons.

Linked accounts will also provide access to offers and promotions through the two programs.

Additional details, including the timing of the loyalty rollout and specific member benefits, are expected to be announced closer to the 2027 launch.
