Arajet, the recently launched Dominican Republic-based low cost carrier, has announced a sale on connecting flights from Toronto through Santo Domingo to Cartagena, Medellín, Aruba, Curaçao, Sint Marten, Kingston and Sao Paulo.
Arajet will operate four weekly frequencies to Toronto Pearson International Airport on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays beginning October 24. For a limited time, the airline is offering connections to the Caribbean from US$119 per leg (taxes not included).
“Canadians will be able to enjoy the privileged location of our low-price hub in the Dominican Republic to connect with dream destinations in the Caribbean throughout the year,” said Víctor Pacheco Méndez, CEO and founder of Arajet.
“The Arajet effect will allow more tourists to visit our countries and strengthen their economic development, generate more jobs and opportunities for more people throughout the region,” he said.
Arajet aims to turn the Dominican Republic into the “new low-price hub of the continent,” offering direct flights from Santo Domingo to Mexico City, Cancun, San José, Guatemala, San Salvador, Bogotá, Medellín, Barranquilla, Quito, Guayaquil, Lima, Sao Paulo, Aruba, Curaçao, Sint Marteen and Kingston aboard new Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft.
