Azores Airlines will continue offering direct flights between Ponta Delgada (Azores) and Montreal throughout the winter season (October 27 to March 29).
Azores says the success of the route this summer supports its investment.
Montreal-Ponta Delgada flights began in April, with the route considered to hold strong growth potential, and a way to offer Canadians the possibility of visiting the Azores outside the high season.

The route also offers a good option for those who wish to travel between Europe and North America with a stopover in the Portuguese islands.
From October 27, flights between Montreal and Ponta Delgada will operate twice a week, on Monday and Saturdays.
Promotion of the route took place throughout the summer, in partnership with several local operators and through familiarization visits to the Azores destination, which brought travel agents, journalists, specialists, and digital influencers to learn about the best that the archipelago has to offer.
