Air Transat Launches New Pre-Order Bistro Service

Air Transat is now offering Economy Class travellers the ability to order meals up to 72 hours prior to departure for flights of three hours or more to sun, U.S. and Canadian destinations.

Bookings can be made now for departures beginning November 15.

TS says its 'Bistro' pre-order service offers guests reduced prices and contributes to the reduction of food waste. As well, travellers are assured of getting the onboard meal of their choices.

There are eight items to choose from, including four exclusively available on pre-order. Here's the menu:

• Chicken Caesar salad - Pre-order exclusive for departures from Montreal, Quebec City and Toronto
• Caesar salad - Pre-order exclusive for departures from Montreal, Quebec City and Toronto
• Breakfast bento box - Pre-order exclusive for departures from Montreal, Quebec City and Toronto
• Mediterranean bento box with wine or beer - Pre-order exclusive for departures from Montreal, Quebec City and Toronto
• Pizza trio including snack and drink of choice
• Croque monsieur trio including snack and drink of choice
• Turkey croissant trio including snack and drink of choice
• Reuben sandwich trio including snack and drink of choice
