Air Transat announced the airline will launch direct flights from Windsor, Charlottetown and Fredericton to popular sun destinations this winter.
Travellers from Windsor (YQG) will be able to fly weekly to Punta Cana (PUJ) every Friday between December 19, 2025, and April 10, 2026.
New service from Charlottetown (YYG) and Fredericton (YFC) to Cancún (CUN) will begin February 18, 2026, with weekly departures every Wednesday through April 22, 2026.
“The addition of Windsor, Charlottetown and Fredericton to our winter flight program demonstrates our commitment to expanding our network in the Canadian market,” said Sebastian Ponce, Transat's Chief Revenue Officer.
“Thanks to optimized operations, we are strengthening our leadership position in Cancún and Punta Cana, while increasing our brand presence in Eastern Canada and Southern Ontario.”
The new routes will give travellers in these regions direct access to warm-weather getaways and Air Transat’s vacation packages.
More details about the airline’s full winter 2025-2026 program are expected soon.
