Air Canada to Resume Service to Israel

Air Canada has announced they will resume flying to Israel as of June 8, 2025. The resumption of service will begin with flights out of Toronto Pearson (YYZ) four times a week, followed in August by a weekly flight out of Montreal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau (YUL). 

The airline states that the decision to resume regular flights to the region was undertaken in consultation with other airlines that are also returning to service. It states that the company has “undertaken extensive safety and security reviews, including consultations with Canadian and foreign government authorities, unions representing its flight crews, and security experts.”

Air Canada seeks to assure travellers that it intends to monitor the situation closely and “ for the safety and well-being of its customers and crews, may adjust its schedule should security and safety protocols require.” 

Further, Air Canada intends to monitor demand and market conditions, increasing service frequency in the future.
