Air Canada is making changes at the top.
President and CEO Michael Rousseau announced a realignment of senior executive roles, effective May 1, 2025.
“Air Canada is now well underway with its New Frontiers strategy and in support of our growth program... we are realigning certain senior executive functions,” said Rousseau.
“These changes will reinforce our management structure by promoting cross-functional capabilities... adding to the resiliency of our already very strong senior leadership team.”
Key Leadership Changes:
Craig Landry moves from EVP and Chief Operations Officer to EVP & Chief Innovation Officer and President of Aeroplan. He will now oversee tech, digital, cybersecurity, AI, and continue leading Aeroplan.
Mark Nasr, previously EVP of Marketing & Digital and Aeroplan President, becomes EVP & Chief Operations Officer. He will manage operations across flight services, maintenance, customer service, and more.
Mark Galardo is appointed EVP & Chief Commercial Officer and President, Cargo, adding marketing and brand development to his existing portfolio.
The leadership shake-up comes as Air Canada readies for a surge in operations later this year with the arrival of new aircraft.
