The World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) has added ClubMed Lifestyle Group as its newest Global Member.
A pioneer in the all-inclusive resort sector, Club Med operates 69 premium resorts worldwide and has established a global sales network spanning six continents and over 40 countries and regions, WTTC points out.
In its new role, ClubMed Lifestyle Group will take part in important business discussions and play a larger role in shaping the future of travel and tourism around the world.

For more than seven decades, Club Med has helped shape the global leisure travel landscape, building a trusted premium brand with a worldwide footprint and a strong reputation for delivering exceptional guest experiences," WTTC President and CEO Gloria Guevara said in a statement.
"Through its combination of world-class resort operations, innovative vacation concepts and expanding lifestyle offerings, ClubMed Lifestyle Group reflects the dynamism and long-term vision that are driving the future of Travel & Tourism," added Guevara.

Friday's announcement comes just two days after the Malta Tourism Authority joined WTTC as a Destination Partner.
