Air Canada Vacations has announced a new way for customers to accelerate their way to Air Canada Elite Status in 2023 when booking their next vacation package with a travel advisor.
For a limited time, Aeroplan members can earn bonus Status Qualifying Dollars (SQD) and Status Qualifying Miles (SQM) when booking a flight-inclusive package with a travel professional for travel through April 30, 2022.
All travellers can earn 2,500 bonus SQM, while those holding 50K, 75K or Super Aeroplan Elite Status can earn 5,000 bonus SQM.
Bonus SQD earned are equal to 50% of the total package price and extend to group bookings.
"We're always looking to enhance our offerings for customers, so this is an exciting first for Air Canada Vacations. By allowing Aeroplan members to earn Status Qualifying Dollars and bonus Status Qualifying Miles through their vacation packages, we're getting them one step closer to enjoying the full range of benefits that come with Elite Status," said ACV Vice President Nino Montagnese.
