The Travel Industry Council of Ontario (TICO) has approved five claims totalling $1,240 from the Ontario Travel Industry Compensation Fund to assist consumers who did not receive the travel services they paid for.The decision was made by TICO’s Board of Directors on December 16, 2025. All five approved claims are related to Temple & Temple Tours Inc. and will support five affected consumers.According to TICO, with these latest approvals, the Compensation Fund has now assisted 631 consumers for a combined total of $138,572 following the closure of Temple & Temple Tours Inc.TICO’s Board also reviewed an additional claim connected to the company but denied it, citing insufficient documentation to substantiate the claim.
